Welcome Address

Dear Members and Friends,

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the official website of The Harriet Tubman Purple Hat Society, Inc, of Staten Island, New York.

As your new president elect for the 2022-2024 term, I am excited to renew all programs implemented and maintained by our past Presidents, Ms. Ashon-Poku and the late Ms. Elizabeth Plair. I would also like to focus on conveying new ideas and bringing new faces to the program to keep our outreach strong and to commit to the legacy of Harriet Tubman and her influence.

When we come together, attending our meetings and fundraisers, or volunteering to help organize and support the society, it brings women together and creates inspiration in Harriet Tubman's honors.
